Websites and apps for Eixample businesses
The district with the most street-level trade in Barcelona — and the one where your competition is literally on the chamfered corner opposite.
The Eixample is a grid, and a grid does something very specific to a small business: it puts eleven competitors within a five-minute walk. The chamfered corner Cerdà drew so trams could turn is now the thing that decides which terrace someone coming down Aribau actually sees.
So the job here is almost never “be found in Barcelona”. It is being found on your block, at a quarter to two, when somebody is looking for lunch without crossing the Diagonal. That is a search with a three-hundred-metre radius, and it is won with a finished Google profile and a site that says exactly where you are.
Two facts about the district
-
The Eixample is Barcelona’s most populous district, holding roughly a sixth of the city’s population across six neighbourhoods.
-
The green axes on Consell de Cent, Rocafort, Comte Borrell and Girona changed traffic and roadway use in the heart of the district — and with it the pattern of who walks past each premises.

What we build around here
Four trades whose problem in the Eixample is different from the same trade elsewhere. Each gets its own page, because the problem genuinely is different.
-
Bars and restaurants
In a grid, the decision radius for a weekday lunch is a block and a half. You aren’t competing with the whole Eixample: you are competing with what can be seen from the corner.
Everything we build for bars and restaurants -
Salons and clinics
Here you aren’t compared with the practice in the next neighbourhood: you are compared with four more on your own street, and the one that states its prices and can be booked without a phone call wins.

Firms and practices
Having your practice in the Eixample stopped being an argument twenty years ago, because everyone has one. What distinguishes you now is saying how you charge before the first meeting.

Neighbourhood retail and services
A shop in the Eixample lives off two audiences that never meet: the neighbour buying daily and the person coming down from work at seven. Two sets of hours, two ways of finding you.
