Common questions
How much does a website cost for a small business in Barcelona?
At appnweb a single-page site starts at €690, a 5–8 page business website at €1,490, an online shop at €2,690 and a mobile app at €4,900. Maintenance with hosting is €49 a month. All prices exclude VAT and are fixed before the project starts.
How long until my site is live?
A single page takes one to two weeks. A business website, two to four weeks. An online shop, four to six. An app, six to twelve weeks. The date goes in the quote in writing.
Do you build sites in Catalan and Spanish?
Yes, and in English. All three languages are included from the Comerç package upwards, with correct hreflang tags so Google shows each person the right version. We don’t charge extra for it.
Do you only work in Barcelona?
We’re based in Barcelona and we like visiting the business when it’s nearby, but we work with clients across Catalonia and the rest of Spain over video. The process is identical.
Can I pay for the website with Kit Digital?
If you meet the Red.es criteria and funds remain, yes. We check whether you qualify before you waste time on paperwork, and if you don’t qualify we say so plainly.
What happens to my site if I stop working with you?
You take the domain, the code and the content. We don’t use closed formats and we don’t lock you into a platform of ours. It’s your site.
Do you charge commission on bookings or orders?
No. Bookings and orders come through your own site and the money goes straight to your account. You only pay your payment provider, which is typically around 1.5%.
Do you work with tourist accommodation, guides or boat hire?
Yes — it is one of the two sectors with a page of its own. We build direct booking in four languages, deposits up front, availability sync with Booking and Airbnb, and the obligations that apply in Catalonia: the tourism registry number displayed and the stay tax itemised.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
Not much: access to your domain if you already have one, your tax details for the legal notice and the invoices, and a sense of what you sell and to whom. We write the copy from a half-hour conversation and you approve it. If you have your own photos, better; if not, we tell you what needs photographing.
Who writes the copy, and where do the photos come from?
We write the copy in all three languages and you review it before it goes live. Photos are yours or licensed stock; we never put another business’s photo up and let it pass for premises that aren’t yours.
What happens if I need changes after launch?
The project includes two rounds of changes before going live. After that, small changes are covered by the €49/month maintenance with nothing billed separately. If it is a new feature we quote it the same way: fixed price before we start.
What is Verifactu and does it affect me?
It’s the Spanish regulation requiring invoices to be issued through software that cannot alter them afterwards. It applies to companies from 1 January 2027 and to freelancers from 1 July 2027. If you invoice in Spain it affects you, and we get your system ready for it.
